I finally finished the Charcoal scarf. The picture is below:
For whatever the reason, I am unable to get any pictures from my new phone. I had to get a new phone on February 26th and have not had any pictures to upload to the cloud that I use since that day. I have the ones from that day before I switched to the new phone, but none since then. I am sorry that I am unable to show you a picture of it. today is April the 4th and I am going ahead and post it without the picture. Whenever I am able to get the pictures, I will start showing them again.
I have started on the next scarf. The color is called Oatmeal. I am going to try really hard to finish it before my shoulder surgery.
The date for my surgery is April 12, 2018. I have to be at the hospital by 6:30AM for the surgery. Within 24 to 48 hours after the surgery I am supposed to be transferred to a rehabilitation center for two weeks up to one month. Then I will come home and have PT/OT for a few months more. I have been told that with a total shoulder replacement, it could take from four to six months to get up to where I will be able to do very much. They say that I won’t be able to raise my arm any higher than straight out and even with my shoulder. If that’s the case, I will have to learn how to do a lot of things with my left hand and arm, such as dress myself, brush my teeth, fix my hair and bathe myself. Can you imagine trying to get dressed, and any number of other things, and not be able to raise one arm any higher than straight out even with your shoulder?
Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.
