The last week has been a hard one and I have been going in super slow motion whenever I have had to do anything not sitting down. This post is late and there should have been another one besides this one. That being the case, I am just adding them both together.
I finished the Aqua scarf on January 3rd just before midnight. The picture is below:
the color looks pretty close to what it actually should be. I’m surprised.
I finished the Fern one today, January 6th. The picture is below:
as you can see the color is not true to what it actually looks like. You can tell it’s some shade of green, and that’s about it. Obviously my camera is messing up again.
Now I am working on one called True Grey. I didn’t know that there was even such a thing as a false grey. I always thought that grey was grey, just a light or a dark version of it. Oh well, the color according to the yarn company is True Grey. I will try to have it finished within three days also.
As I am figuring that I will be having surgery as soon as the end of February to the first part of March, I am crocheting as fast as I possibly can trying to make as many scarves as possible before then. There is no way to know how long it will take for me to be able to crochet after the shoulder surgeries. Both shoulders have to be operated on and will be done one right after the other one heals.
The weather is still bitter cold, so the scarves still have not been handed out. My friend and I plan on handing them out the first day it gets above freezing. I’ll keep you informed.
